Childcare

There is a range of support available from Government to either help with the cost of childcare or to reduce your existing child care costs. The schemes available vary and depend on your personal circumstances and family income but broadly fall into the following:

Free Childcare provision amounting to either 15 or 30 hours per week (dependent upon circumstances)

Tax Credits to help with childcare

Universal Credit to help with childcare

To check what help and support you might be able to receive please visit Child Care Choices at

The website details the eligibility criteria for each scheme and also explains how to apply.
