After an excellent meeting at MidKent College’s Maidstone campus last week, I spoke in the Skills England debate in Parliament yesterday to relay their concerns over the constant changes to the skills landscape in recent years. With qualifications being removed and reintroduced, I argued that more certainty would allow for better long-term planning by colleges, students and parents.
