Helen Grant MP and Tracey Crouch MP look forward to 2019 Apprenticeship Fair

Helen Grant MP, Tracey Crouch MP, Helen Whately MP and Tom Tugendhat MP are inviting the press and broadcast media to attend the Maidstone Apprenticeship Fair on Friday 8th February 2019 at Mote Park Leisure Centre.

The event will give year 12 and year 13 students the opportunity to meet with potential employers and explore the apprenticeship opportunities which are available to them. Leading international and local employers and over 750 students from 22 schools across West and Mid Kent will participate on the day. The list of companies and organisations attending was put together by the students themselves.

Nearly 40 organisations have already confirmed their attendance including blue chip organisations such as: Barclays, BAE Systems, KPMG, BMW, Lloyds Banking Group, Network Rail, PwC, Rolls Royce, Sir Robert McAlpine and The Army. Helen, Helen, Tracey and Tom will also be there on the day.

Helen Grant MP said: ‘Following the success of last year’s inaugural Maidstone Apprenticeship Fair, I am hugely excited about the chance to once again bring together hundreds of local school children with some of the biggest and best apprenticeship employers in the country. Apprenticeships provide life changing opportunities for our young people and I am looking forward to finding out more about what’s on offer in our part of Kent.’
