It was a pleasure to visit Growing Hope Maidstone at their clinic in St Luke’s Church, and learn more about the charity’s work providing free art and language therapy for children and young people with additional needs, alongside support and guidance for their families.
I was delighted to meet Clinic Manager Lorraine Ackroyd, together with trustees Tony Jones and Marion Hanks, who is also a Drawing and Talking practitioner and volunteers as a clinic assistant, to hear about the difference Growing Hope is making to support the local community.
At a time when many families face significant challenges in accessing the right support and education for their children, Growing Hope Maidstone is an invaluable source of support. They are a powerful example of the contribution local organizations make to the wellbeing of communities across Maidstone and Malling.
