August 2023, Maidstone, Kent: MP Helen Grant joined over 1000 enthusiasts to visit the largest climbing centre in Kent recently. It was a special open day arranged by the management team to promote the facility and to celebrate their 50,000th visitor.
The 25,000 sq. ft undercover centre has a dedicated bouldering gym, a fun wall for kids and families, a wellbeing Yoga and Pilates studio, and a café.
“Helen said: I was delighted to help celebrate The Climbing Experience’s achievement of reaching 50,000 customers to date. I first attended this vibrant climbing community, right in the heart of Maidstone, in 2020, and it’s great to see them thriving.
The exciting and rewarding sport of Bouldering is one of the fastest growing in the country and it’s fantastic to see The Climbing Experience leading the charge. I am also thrilled that the hard work and perseverance of their leadership is creating a resilient business which adds a great boost to our County Town’s leisure offering’.
